Kenneth Rawson, current Master of Arts in Children and Youth Ministry student, was blessed to receive a full-tuition scholarship through the Jubilee Scholarship program. He wanted to share his immense gratitude with you. Here is what Kenneth shared recently:
My name is Ken Rawson and I am one of the many people who have received the Jubilee Scholarship. It is the only way I am able to even consider furthering my education.
I am married to my sweet wife and we have 4 amazing kids. I serve as the Middle School Ministry Lead at a non-denominational church in Sandusky, Ohio.
I just want you to see how your investment is growing. I took three classes to start my seminary education. 鈥淭hinking Theologically Confessing Publicly鈥 was amazing. Wow. What a gift. When people ask me how seminary has been I tell them how this class increased my love and appreciation for Jesus.
鈥淐ulture and Emerging Generations鈥 helped me see and understand the secular age we are living in and how our culture is reacting to a world that is speeding up. In 鈥淐hristian Public Leader鈥 I was connected to a precious group of fellow seminarians as we discovered our strengths.
I am loving all this learning! I am already sharing what I have learned with my small group leaders (the volunteers that serve in our student ministry), my co-workers, and my family. What I am learning has given richness to my teaching and has me rethinking strategy and ministry in all sorts of ways.
Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!
Ken
